A New Problem for Historians

In recent years, people in government and private industry have been putting less into writing, producing less for historians. Historian Niall Ferguson says this is going to be "a nightmare for historians."

Some thoughts of the actors are being lost, but remaining are public statements including memoirs that count for something, and is also revelations under the category of "time will tell." Crucial will still be a historians ability to analyze without missing crucial components.
