Sather Gate, University of California at Berkeley

A normally tranquil place through the sixties, despite Berkeley's reputation. Just beyond the gate, under the walkway runs a stream, and alongside the stream occasionally sat a guitarist ably playing flamenco. Often around the noon hour, two or more musicians played classical music.
